Transactional Analysis is a rational and easy-to-understand method of clarifying and managing human relationships and behaviors. The concepts developed by Eric Berne, M.D. in the 50s and 60s have continued to be expanded by Transactional Analysts throughout the world. This course is a synthesis of the original concepts and of recent developments in the theory and applications of Transactional Analysis. This course can be beneficial to mental health professionals, parents, educators, clergy, physicians, people in managerial positions and the legal profession, and anyone interested in relating more effectively with him/herself and with others. This course can serve as an introduction to Transactional Analysis or as a refresher for those already familiar with Transactional Analysis.
This course is a prerequisite for advanced Transactional Analysis training and Winning Together training. Completion of this course fulfills the requirements for becoming a regular voting member of the International Transactional Analysis Association.
This course has been approved for twelve hours of continuing education credit by the Texas Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors and Social Workers and the Texas Board of Examiners of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists.
